South Carolina’s football game against LSU Saturday, Oct. 18 in Columbia will be televised nationally with kick off time set for 7:45 p.m. at Williams-Brice Stadium. The game will be shown coast to coast by either ESPN or ESPN2. This will mark the third straight national television appearance by the Gamecocks and the fourth time in the past five games Carolina has been showcased on national TV. Games against Georgia (CBS), Tennessee (ESPN), and Kentucky (ESPN) were also broadcast nationally.
South Carolina is 4-2 on the year and 1-2 in the SEC. LSU, which was upset 19-7 by Florida on Saturday in Baton Rouge, is 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the conference. The Tigers were ranked #6 in both polls prior to Saturday’s game.
