The Toyota Gamecock Village will be open from 11:30 am until 3:00 pm before the home game against the University of Alabama this Saturday. Located in the Grandstand at the Fairgrounds, the Village is free and open to the public.

The Gamecock Village will feature a number of special events this week:

-Former Gamecock football players Mathew Campbell and Mackie Prickett will be appearing to sign autographs from 1:00-2:00 pm. Campbell played tight end for Carolina from 1990-93 and played eight years in the NFL before retiring last year. Prickett was the Gamecocks’ starting quarterback in the mid 1950s and is in the Carolina Athletics Hall of Fame.

-The Carolina women’s soccer team will make an appearance to greet fans and sign autographs from 1:30-2:30 pm.

-The USC Marching Band will perform at 1:30 pm inside the Gamecock Village.

-A local rock band, Mean Weiner, will perform two sets starting at 1:00 at the Village.

-The Colonial Kids Corner features three large inflatable games for kids.

-Jewelry Warehouse will have Carolina gear available for purchase and will feature a special gift card promotion where one lucky fan will win a $1,000 gift card.
