KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Sophomore Allison Barr finished 12th in the platform competition, wrapping up South Carolina’s stay at the NCAA Zone Diving competition at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center.

The sophomore from Orlando, Fla., finished with a score of 434.05 in her first championship platform competition as a collegian. Barr advanced to the finals with a 210.90 through five dives in the preliminary round as the 12th seed.

With the NCAA Zone Diving regionals concluded, South Carolina will send one diver to the NCAA Women’s Championships next week as Taryn Zack advanced with her second-place finish in the one-meter event yesterday.
