The University of South Carolina and South Carolina State will meet for just the second time ever on the gridiron on Saturday, October 3 at Williams-Brice Stadium. That contest will kick off at 7 p.m. and will be televised nationally on ESPN Classic.

The Gamecocks defeated South Carolina State by a 38-3 score on September 15, 2007 in the only previous meeting between the two state schools.
