Columbia, S.C. – South Carolina junior offensive tackle Quintin Richardson will have surgery after injuring his left shoulder. His status for the 2010 season will be determined after surgery. Last season, Richardson played in eight games with five starts. He started the first four games at right tackle and was moved to backup before regaining his starting assignment in the regular season finale against Clemson. Richardson did not participate in the PapaJohns.com Bowl after undergoing right shoulder surgery in December.
