The No. 19/20 South Carolina Gamecocks (3-1, 1-1 SEC) were back at the Bluff Road “Proving Grounds” Monday evening, practicing for the first time after enjoying three days off for the bye week.

The Gamecocks will host the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide (5-0, 2-0 SEC) at 3:39 p.m. on Saturday, October 9. The game will be televised nationally on CBS with Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson in the booth and Tracy Wolfson working the sidelines. In addition, the CBS College Sports Network’s SEC Tailgate Show will air live from the fairgrounds from 2-3 p.m.

ESPN’s College GameDay presented by The Home Depot will also be live from Columbia on Saturday. That three-hour show will be held at the historic Horseshoe in the middle of the University of South Carolina campus beginning at 9 a.m.

The Gamecocks will return to the practice fields on Tuesday afternoon at 4:15 p.m.
