COLUMBIA, S.C. – Two current and one former South Carolina diver will compete at the 2011 AT&T National Diving Championships, being held this week at the Spieker Aquatics Center and Dirks Pool on the campus of UCLA. Senior Courtney Forcucci will compete in the women’s one-meter and three-meter competitions, junior Rylan Ridenour will compete in the men’s one-meter event, and former Carolina diver AllisonForcucci will be the first to compete on Thursday in the semifinal round of the one-meter event, followed by the final round if she should advance. Forcucci and Brennan will compete on Friday in the women’s three-meter event, with quarterfinal and semifinal rounds on Friday, and the final round on Sunday. Ridenour will dive in the men’s one-meter event on Friday, with semifinals and finals that day.
NBC Sports and Universal Sports will televise the August 13-14 finals live. The broadcast begins with one hour of live coverage of the women’s platform final on NBC at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday, Aug. 13, followed by an additional two hours of live coverage of the men’s 3-meter final and women’s synchronized 3-meter final on Universal Sports from 3:30-5:30 p.m. ET. On Sunday, coverage will feature the men’s platform final on NBC from 3-4 p.m. ET, followed by Universal Sports coverage of the women’s 3-meter and men’s synchronized 3-meter final from 4:30-6:30 p.m. ET.
