Pro Timing Day Set for March 14

The South Carolina football program will hold its annual Pro Timing Day at Williams-Brice Stadium on Tuesday, March 14, when 16 draft-eligible former Gamecock players and three current student-athletes are slated to work out for NFL coaches and scouts.
Those former Gamecock players expected to participate include: Matrick Belton, Jordan Diggs, Chaz Elder, Darius English, Elliott Fry, Kelsey Griffin, T.J. Holloman, Shannon James, Marquavius Lewis, Cedrick Malone, Chris Moody, Darius Paulk, Marcquis Roberts, Jonathan Walton, Drew Williams and Mason Zandi.
The three current student-athletes who will also participate in this year’s event are offensive lineman Zack Bailey, tight end Hayden Hurst and wide receiver Deebo Samuel.
The event will begin in the Crews Building weight room (which will be closed to the media, general public and agents) at 8 a.m. and conducted in the following order: Height/Weight; Broad Jump/Vertical Jump; Bench Press.
The testing will then continue in Williams-Brice Stadium at approximately 9:45 a.m. with the 40-yard dash; Short Shuttle/3-Cone; and Long Shuttle.
Following the testing, individual position workouts will be conducted on the field in the following order: wide receiver and tight end; offensive line; defensive line and linebackers; running backs, defensive backs, kicker.
FANS: The Williams-Brice Stadium workout portion of Pro Timing Day will be open to the public. Fans should park in the North Premium Parking Lot of Gamecock Park, enter the stadium through Gate 20 by the press elevators on the west side of the stadium, and sit in the lower west stands. The gates will open at 9 a.m. Admission is free.
MEDIA: The Williams-Brice Stadium workout portion of Pro Timing Day will be open to the media. Credentials will be required for all media members attending the event. Those requesting credentials should contact Steve Fink, Assistant AD/Media Relations, at finksc@mailbox.sc.edu. Parking will be available for the media in Lot D on the east side of the stadium off Key Road. Media members will check in at Southwest Entry/Recruiting Gate beginning at 8 a.m. Credentialed photographers and videographers will be allowed to shoot the workout from the east sideline and/or the south stands. Media can watch the workout either along the east sidelines or from the stands. All media interviews will be conducted in the northeast corner of the stadium after the players complete their workouts. Please send your interview requests to Steve Fink.
AGENTS: All agents are required to register with Chance Miller at CCMILLER@mailbox.sc.edu from the South Carolina Compliance department. Agents should park in the North Premium Parking Lot of Gamecock Park, check in at Southwest Entry/Recruiting Gate beginning at 7 a.m. and sit in the stands.
Should inclement weather arise, the field activities will be moved to the indoor practice facility. Due to space limitations, that workout would not be open to the general public.
