COLUMBIA, S.C. ââ’¬” A total of 78 South Carolina student-athletes from the basketball, equestrian and swimming/diving teams earned spots on the Southeastern Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll. The list includes 701 members who achieved a minimum 3.00 grade point average for the 2016 Spring, Summer and Fall semesters from the league’s 14 schools.

For the Gamecocks, equestrian and women’s swimming led the way with 28 entries on the list. South Carolina’s total entries on the list tied for second among the league’s 14 schools, trailing just Auburn (96) and matching Georgia, both of which sponsor gymnastics as well.
