NOTES:
Noah Hall was outstanding in Saturday’s 7-0 win over Kentucky, firing eight scoreless innings and allowing just two hits with eight strikeouts to pick up his third win of the year. Hall allowed just three base runners to reach second base and had strikeouts to end the third, fifth, sixth and eighth innings.
 
Josiah Sightler has improved his batting average to .294 after being at .167 after The Citadel game on March 23. Sightler went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two doubles and a home run in Friday’s win and had two more hits on Saturday. Sightler leads the team with 13 home runs to go along with 11 doubles.
 
Andrew Eyster hit a two-run home run in Friday’s win, then had a big two-run single on Senior Day on Saturday. Eyster is hitting .335 with 10 home runs and 50 RBI.
 
Michael Braswell hit .538 in four games for the Gamecocks this week, while reaching base at a .667 clip. Braswell went 4-for-4 with a three-run double in Friday’s 10-3 win over Kentucky. Braswell then walked three times and drove in a run with a single in Saturday’s 7-0 win. The freshman drove in four runs on the week with five walks and a .615 slugging percentage.
 
The Gamecocks close out the regular season with four games, hosting Charlotte on Tuesday night in the home finale and visiting Florida for a Thursday-Saturday series.
