Final Details Announced for Garnet & Black Spring Game

The 2023 South Carolina Garnet & Black Spring Football Game will be back under the lights at Williams-Brice Stadium, with game time set for 7 pm on Saturday, April 15. The game will be part of the second annual “Big Gamecock Weekend,” which includes a weekend full of Gamecock athletic events. This year’s Big Gamecock Weekend is presented by Palmetto Shirt Company. Big Gamecock Weekend

Parking
Gamecock Park will open at 2:30 p.m. and parking is free and first-come, first-serve. Once Gamecock Park fills up, fans can park in the Woodstock lot (behind the Football Indoor facility) or the Key Road Lot. LMC Fair Park will open at 3 p.m. and is $10 per vehicle.

Gamecock Village
Gamecock Village will open at 3 p.m. on Saturday with the Spring Game concert featuring Patrick Davis & His Midnight Choir beginning at 3:30 p.m.

Food will be available for purchase from the following food trucks: Carolina Cookin’, 365 Grillin & Seafood and Truly Scrumptious Creamery. Beer and water will also be available for sale throughout Gamecock Village.

Fans will be able to pick up the 2023 football poster as well as participate in inflatable games and shot in the Palmetto Shirt Company pop-up shop.

Gate & Seating Information
All gates at Williams-Brice Stadium will open at 5:30 p.m. The Clear Bag Policy is in effect and magnetometers will be used. Seating in the lower level seating bowl is open on a first-come, first-serve basis. Fans are encouraged to fill sections 1-9 first. The 200 level, 600 level, Zone and 2001 Club are open on an invitation-only basis. Admission is free.

The Cockaboose Club will be open with concessions and the Horseshoe Club will be open but concessions will not be available for purchase. The Traditions Club will be closed.

Traffic Information
I-77 Southbound will be closed from Bluff Road to the I-26 interchange from 9 p.m. on Friday, April 14 through Sunday, April 23 (9 total days).
