Xavier Legette Named to the PFF All-SEC Team

University of South Carolina senior wide receiver Xavier Legette was named to the 2023 All-SEC team as selected by PFF College, it was announced today.

Legette, a 6-3, 227-pound senior from Mullins, S.C., was one of 10 semifinalists for the Biletnikoff Award, given to the nation’s top receiver, and was an A.P. Midseason Second-Team All-American. He led the Gamecocks with 71 receptions for 1,255 yards, and seven receiving touchdowns. His 1,255 receiving yards was the second-highest single-season mark in school history. Legette averaged 104.6 receiving yards per game (2nd in the SEC), 17.7 yards per reception (7th in the SEC) and 5.9 receptions per game (4th in the SEC) and logged six 100-yard receiving games. He earned second team All-SEC honors from both the Associated Press and the league’s coaches last week.
