Bruce Staley Bio
Walk-on running back who is in his third season with the squad… adds depth to the running back room… is the cousin of former Gamecock and NFL standout Duce Staley.
2021 (Redshirt Freshman)
Did not participate in the spring while recovering from knee surgery… worked with the scout team in the fall… did not see any game action.
2020 (Freshman)
Walk-on running back who had a torn ACL prior to his arrival on campus… was sidelined for the entire season… underwent surgery to repair the injury… redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from West Columbia’s Airport High School in 2020… played running back and outside linebacker for the Eagles and head coach Kirk Burnett… the Eagles posted a 10-4 record in 2019, reaching the third round of the Class AAAA state playoffs.

Harvey Bruce Staley was born April 4, 2002… is the cousin of former Gamecock standout Duce Staley.
