Jordan Diaz Bio
2014: Senior special teams performer who went on scholarship prior to the start of the season… missed spring ball while recovering from a left knee injury… former walk-on who earned his first letter in 2013 after working primarily on special teams.
2013: Backup fullback who was used on special teams… suffered a left knee injury on the opening kickoff against Florida and missed the remainder of the season… a member of the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll… transitioned to fullback in the spring after working at linebacker in the fall of 2012.
2012: Linebacker who joined the squad when the roster expanded in August.
2010-11: Attended Mercer County Community College in West Windsor, N.J… was a member of the Gattaca football program, a JUCO club team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Hamilton (N.J.) West High School in 2010… played football for Tom Hoglen… earned first team all-area and all-conference honors in both 2009 and 2010.
PERSONAL: Jordan Diaz was born June 2, 1992… is an exercise science major… one of the campus leaders of the ‘Uplifiting Athletes’ program.
