Max Durschlag Bio
Walk-on long snapper who joined the squad when school began in August of 2019 after beginning his career at Appalachian State… figures to be in the mix for the open long snapping duties in 2020.
2019
Joined the squad when the roster expanded in August… provided depth at the deep snapper position following a transfer from Appalachian State.
2018
Redshirted as a true freshman at Appalachian State after appearing in three games… was the primary long snapper in the New Orleans Bowl win over Middle Tennessee, snapping on both extra point and field goal attempts for the injured Elias McMurry… also snapped in high-scoring wins against Charlotte and Gardner-Webb.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte in 2018… was a member of Mallard Creek’s state championship teams as a freshman and sophomore… earned all-conference honors as a specialist… named one of the top performers at the Chris Rubio Long Snapping Camp in 2016… also competed as a thrower in track & field.
