True freshman linebacker who joined the team at the start of fall camp… worked with the scout team… did not see any game action… redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated with honors from Buford (S.C.) High School in 2018… a four-year starter for the Jackets… coached by Tripp Watts… named the Lancaster News County co-Player of the Year as a senior after logging a school-record 320 tackling points on 180 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles, two sacks, an interception, a blocked kick, two broken up passes and two touchdowns… a three-time all-region player, was the Jackets’ 2017 MVP and received the team’s Best Linebacker Award for the 7-4 squad that earned a Class AA playoff bid… earned two prestigious regional honors – the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Competitor of the Year Award for the Charlotte metro area, and the Crenco Food Stores Player of the Year for York, Chester and Lancaster counties… also played baseball for three seasons.
