2010: Fifth-year senior… played in 10 of 14 games with the bulk of his work coming on special teams… made two starts – vs. Furman and in the Chick-fil-A Bowl game against Florida State – subbing for Garrett Chisolm… earned the Everyday Effort Award for Offense in the spring.

2008: Became a mainstay at the right guard position… made his first career start in the fourth game of the season against Wofford… held the starting nod for a four-game stretch… did not start against LSU, but returned to the starting lineup the following week against Tennessee and remained there for the rest of the season, making nine starts overall.

2007: Listed as a defensive lineman entering the fall but changed his number from 81 to 60 when he was moved to the offensive line… played in one game, seeing action in the win over South Carolina State… did not practice during the spring of `07 while rehabbing a knee injury sustained early in the 2006 season.

2006: Redshirted as a true freshman after suffering a left knee injury early in camp that required season-ending surgery.

High School: Graduated from South Cobb High School in Austell, Ga., where he was coached by Shane Queen… rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals.com, which also tabbed him as the No. 50 strongside defensive end in the country and the No. 42 player in the state of Georgia regardless of position… first-team all-county honoree was selected to the North-South All-Star team… helped South Cobb to a 9-2 record and a regional title… also competed in basketball… member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes… high school teammate of former Gamecock standout, the late Kenny McKinley… chose South Carolina over scholarship offers from Arkansas and Louisville, among others.
