Zac Brindise Bio
Junior quarterback who was rewarded with a scholarship prior to the start of the 2009 season… slated to compete with Connor Shaw and Andrew Clifford for the backup signal-caller behind probable starter Stephen Garcia… intelligent player with a good understanding of the offense… has not appeared in a collegiate game… was a member of the 2009 Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll.
2009: Did not see any game action during his sophomore season.
2008: Did not see any action as a redshirt freshman signal-caller.
2007: Worked with the scout team while being redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from South Fort Myers (Fla.) High School in 2007… coached by Grant Redhead… threw for 1,553 yards as a senior with 17 touchdowns helping his team to a 7-3 record… postseason honors included LCAC first team, John Carrigan All-Star game MVP, News-Press All-Area, Naples News Comeback Player and South Fort Myers Offensive MVP… also played basketball and competed in track & field… was a member of the National Honor Society and the German Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Zachary Brindise was born September 22, 1988, in Fort Myers Beach, Fla… parents are Kathy and Barry Brindise… brother, Noah, played quarterback at the University of Florida… interested in a degree in sport & entertainment management.
