Kyle Morini Bio
Senior walk-on linebacker who briefly moved to fullback in the spring before returning to the defensive side of the ball… adds depth to the unit and could also figure in on special teams.
2013: Junior linebacker who stepped on the South Carolina campus for the first time in January and was added to the football squad as a walk-on…. saw action in two games, playing against Coastal Carolina and in the bowl win over Wisconsin… missed several weeks of the season after dislocating his elbow in practice.
2012: Spent the fall semester at Midlands Tech.
2011: Played linebacker at Gray Military Academy in Columbia… saw action at both the Will and Mike positions… served as the team captain and led the team in tackles.
2010: Played Mike linebacker as a true freshman at North Greenville University.
HIGH SCHOOL: Born and raised in Warner Robins, Ga., but graduated from White Knoll High School in nearby Lexington, S.C. in 2010… coached by Gordon Walters… honorable mention all-region selection.
PERSONAL: Kyle Morini was born January 2, 1992… is a mathematics major.
