Fifth-year senior who returned to his more natural position of left guard and started all 10 contests… named one of four permanent team captains… earned second-team All-SEC accolades from Pro Football Focus and was a third-team All-SEC performer, according to Phil Steele… led an offensive line that helped Kevin Harris become the Gamecocks’ first 1,000-yard rusher since 2013… was the most experienced player on the squad with 39 career starts (16 at left guard, 12 at right guard and 11 at left tackle)… appeared in 45 games overall… started each of the last 36 games consecutively…took part in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl experience and invited to the NFL Combine.

2019
Junior who started every game along the offensive line, the first 11 at left tackle and the final game against Clemson at left guard… took every meaningful offensive snap… earned a spot on Bruce Feldman’s “Freaks” list for his efforts in the weight room… named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.

2018
Redshirt sophomore offensive lineman who started at guard in every game… made 12 starts at right guard and started at left guard for the Belk Bowl…  named one of three Strength & Conditioning Award winners by the coaches following the season… shared the Joe Morrison Offensive Player of the Spring Award with K.C. Crosby.

2017
Played in 10 games making four starts… did not play in the season’s first three games… made his collegiate debut against Louisiana Tech, playing the majority of the game at left guard after Cory Helms left with an injury in the first quarter… served as starting left guard against Texas A&M, Arkansas and Tennessee while Helms was sidelined… also saw extensive action in the Vanderbilt win after Helms suffered another injury… started in the Outback Bowl win after Donell Stanley was injured and unable to play.

2016
Redshirted as a true freshman offensive lineman… shared the Offensive Scout Team Award with Ty’Son Williams as selected by the coaching staff following the season… named to the 2016-17 First-Year SEC Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played on both sides of the line at Class 1A Huntingdon (Tenn.) High School for head coach Eric Swenson… graduated in 2016… the Mustangs went 10-2 and reached the second round of the playoffs in his senior season… collected 45 tackles and six sacks as a senior defensive end… played tight end on the offense… also played basketball… Rivals rated him as the 21st-best senior in Tennessee… 247Sports regarded him as the 21st-best player in the state and the 38th-best strongside defensive end in the nation… ESPN ranked him as the 22nd-best player in Tennessee and the No. 105 defensive end in the nation… an All-Southeast Region pick by PrepStar.
