2010-11 – Remained a force in the backstroke and butterfly events…Had the team[apos]s second-best times in the 100 back (56.60) and the 100 fly (55.93); both were career-bests…Had the fourth-fastest 200 back time (2:01.19)…All top times came at SEC Championships…Her time in the 100 back ranks as the fifth-best time in school history…Competed in eight dual meets and SEC Championships.

2009-10 – Became a strong scorer for the Gamecocks in the backstroke events…Had the team[apos]s second-best time in the 100 back (56.60) and 200 back (2:00.18); both times came at SEC Championships…Swam a 57.14 in the 100 fly in season-opening meet with Kentucky… Won 200m back vs. College of Charleston…Named to SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll.

PRE-COLLEGE – Graduated from Parkview High School… Named Team MVP as a freshman and a junior…Named Most Dedicated as a sophomore and a senior… Helped Panthers to state runner-up finish as a freshman… Was third in the state in the 100 back…Had top-eight finishes in all of her events each year…Club team was Swim Atlanta…Was part of 2008 Senior National Championship team…Graduated with honors.

PERSONAL – Full name is Haley Elizabeth Staubach… Born January 11, 1991… Parents are William and Christy Staubach… Has two sisters, Hannah and Mallory… Is a third cousin to Dallas Cowboys Hall of Fame quarterback Roger Staubach… Plans to major in public health… Chose South Carolina because it offered her the best opportunity to achieve success in the pool and the classroom…Also had offers from Penn State, Arizona State, Northern Arizona and Louisville.
