Minneapolis, Minn. – South Carolina senior diver Andy Bradley finished off his career at Carolina this weekend competing at the NCAA Championships on the campus of the University of Minnesota. Bradley earned All-American honors for the fifth time with a sixth place finish on the three-meter board with a score of 582.75.

“I’m very proud of Andy’s effort this entire weekend at the NCAA Championships,” said USC head diving coach Todd Sherritt. “The field this season was so much better than last year but he did a great job and really competed. Andy was very solid the whole night and didn’t miss a dive all day.

Bradley, a two-time national runner-up on the one-meter his last two seasons, also finished 20th on the one-meter on Thursday night with a score 284.30. Bradley leaves Carolina holding all the school records on the one-meter and three-meter boards.

“Andy has competed a top level for a long time and is one of the best men’s athletes we have had at South Carolina,” said Coach Sherritt. “To consistently be among the nation’s best for the last three years is a great achievement. This senior year he continued to work hard and really trained to be a top diver. He didn’t slack off and I have a lot of respect for what he has accomplished for us at South Carolina.”
