Columbia, SC – The South Carolina swimming and diving squads will participate in their final home meet of the season Saturday, Nov. 11. The Gamecocks are scheduled to compete against the Bees of the Savannah College of Art and Design at 12:00 p.m. in the Carolina Natatorium. Kendel Fiorentino, Lyndsey Havens, Stephanie Margalis, Aunya Nance, Meredith Ruka, Lindsey Tiberio and Colby Mack will all be recognized as part of Senior Day.

“It’s Senior Day, so we are looking to send our seniors off well,” said head coach Don Gibb. “We are also looking to swim some kids in some non-traditional races, some races that they don’t usually get to swim. We are looking to have fun, and improve on what we did last week.”

The Gamecocks are coming off a set of heartbreaking home losses to in-state rival Clemson, which brought the women’s season record to 2-4 and the men’s season record to 2-3. Both SCAD teams are 1-1 after falling to the University of Tampa and defeating Florida Southern College.

Following this weekend’s meet the teams will have three weeks to prepare for the Ohio State Invitational being held in Columbus, Ohio Dec. 1-3.
