Columbia, S.C. – The National Collegiate Athletic Association announced that three South Carolina swimmers will be participating in the NCAA championships in Minneapolis, Minn.

All three qualifiers earned their top times at the SEC Championships. Senior Christy Williams is qualified for the 200 butterfly. She finished third at the SEC Championships with a time of 1:58.10. Junior Lindsey Tiberio is qualified in the 100 breaststroke. She finished fourth at SECs with a time of 1:01.88. Sophomore Sharntelle McLean is South Carolina’s final qualifier. She qualified in the 50 freestyle, finishing fifteenth at SECs with a time of 22.87.

The NCAA Women’s Championships will be held March 8-10 in Minneapolis, Minn.
