Columbia, S.C. – The Gamecocks completed NCAA competition Saturday, with Senior Lindsey Tiberio and junior Christy Williams competing in Minneapolis, Minn. Tiberio swam the 200-breaststroke and Williams swam the 200-butterfly.

Tiberio recorded a time of 2:17.16 in the 200-breaststroke and finished 31st. Tiberio’s time was a new season best for her. Her previous top time was 2:17.36. Williams just missed the consolation final in the 200-butterfly, finishing 17th with a time of 1:58.72.

The Gamecocks finished 36th at the meet, with diver Lyndsey Havens scoring the team’s only points. The South Carolina men will travel to Minneapolis this weekend to compete in the Men’s NCAA Championships, which will be held March 15-18.
