The SEC Eastern Division champion South Carolina Gamecocks practiced Wednesday afternoon at the Georgia Dome. It was the squad’s third workout and its second in the Dome since arriving in Atlanta on Sunday following the Christmas break.
The Gamecocks (9-4) are preparing for the 2010 Chick-fil-A Bowl against the Florida State Seminoles (9-4) in the Georgia Dome on Friday, December 31. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. ET and the contest will be televised nationally on ESPN with Ron Franklin and Ed Cunningham in the booth and Jeannine Edwards working the sidelines.
The team took part in a Chick-fil-A milkshake-making contest following practice, then several members of the squad will attend the Atlanta Hawks – Golden State Warriors basketball game Wednesday night.
The team will conduct its final walk-thru on Thursday afternoon.
