COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina men’s swimming and diving team is No. 4 in the first CollegeSwimming.com rankings of 2015-16 season, as announced by the organization on Tuesday. The Gamecock women are ranked 12th.

Both squads opened the 2015-16 season with strong showing at the FGCU Classic last week. The men claimed the title while the women finished in third place.

The Gamecock men open South Carolina’s home slate when they host Purdue on Sat., Oct. 24. Both the men and women will then race Alabama on Sat., Oct. 31. All home meets take place at the Blatt P.E. Center/Carolina Natatorium.
