Vincent Named SEC Diver of the Week for Second Time in November

COLUMBIA, S.C. — University of South Carolina junior Julia Vincent has been named Southeastern Conference Women’s Diver of the Week, the league office announced today. The weekly honor is the second of Vincent’s collegiate career, as well as second of the season.

Vincent won the 1-meter and 3-meter dives at the Georgia Tech Invitational on Nov. 17-19. The junior posted a score of 313.95 in the 1-meter and 359.40 in the 3-meter dive.

She is currently undefeated in the 3-meter dive and holds a 4-1 mark in the 1-meter dive.

Vincent and the rest of the Gamecock swimming and diving squad are back in action in the New Year as they take on Tennessee on January 7 at home.
