Gamecocks in Search of NCAA Qualifying Times at Last Chance Meet

Athens, Ga. – Selected swimmers from South Carolina will compete this weekend at the UGA Last Chance Invitational where they are in search of NCAA Championship qualifying times.

The invitational will run March 2-3 with prelims beginning each day at 10 a.m. and finals beginning on Saturday at 5 p.m. and on Sunday at 4 p.m.

Live streaming will not be available, however live results will be on the subscription-based Meet Mobile app.

For the women, Jordan Agliano, Laura Goettler, Bella Pantano, Dylan Scholes, Peyton Curry, Nicholle Toh, and Meaghan Harnish are all in search of qualifying times. Goettler and Toh are both in search of their second berths at the NCAAs, having both qualified last year as individuals. Scholes also made it to the Championship meet last year as part of a relay as did Curry while at LSU.

For the men, Linus Kahl, Michael Laitarovsky, and Mark Shperkin will represent the team. Laitarovsky made the cut last season in the 100 back while Kahl and Shperkin are both in search of their first career NCAA appearances.
