Prior to SC:

Played at Lemont HS in Lemont, Illinois … Named the 2023 USA TODAY High School Sports Awards National Softball Player of the Year … Named the Illinois Softball Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior and senior … Was a three-time First Team All-State selection … For her career, she threw 32 no-hitters and five perfect games … Led Lemont to the back-to-back Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Class 3A state championships (2022 and 2023) … Capped off her career with a 12-inning, 24-strikeout, no-hitter in the 2023 IHSA state championship … Also threw a no-hitter in the 2022 IHSA state championship … In 2023, she finished with a 23-0 record and a 0.00 ERA, leading her team to a 35-1 record, with 340 strikeouts while allowing just 18 hits and 21 walks in 143 1-3 innings over 24 games … Threw 12 no-hitters, including two perfect games, and allowed just three unearned runs as a senior … Became only the second pitcher in IHSA history to finish a season with a 0.00 ERA (min. 70 innings) … Ranked as the nation’s No. 10 recruit in the Class of 2023 by Extra Inning Softball … Also hit for Lemont, batting .348 with five home runs and a .667 slugging percentage … As a junior she finished the season with a 21-1 record and a 0.29 ERA … She reached double figures in strikeouts in 21 of her 22 starts, finishing with 329 strikeouts in 142.2 innings, averaging 16.14 strikeouts per seven innings … During the club season, she earned All-American honors during the 2021 season with the Beverly Bandits … Led the Bandits to a runner-up finish at the 2023 PGF Nationals Premier Division … Mardjetko also excels in the classroom where she is a member of the National Honors Society and serves on the athletic council club.
