Gamecocks Have 10 Students Named NFCA All-American Scholar Athletes

COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina softball had 10 players named NFCA All-American Scholar-Athletes for the 2016-17 year, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced today. Krystan White, Macey Webb, Kamryn Watts, Victoria Williams, Hayley Copeland, Kennedy Clark, Lex Hull, Mackenzie Boesel, Tiara Duffy and Jordyn Augustus all earned the honor.

The 10 Gamecocks are part of the record 7,351 softball players across seven membership divisions to earn NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2016-17 academic year.

NCAA Division I led the way with 1,843 student-athletes earning a 3.5 grade-point average or higher.
